1. Scope and General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all online services, sectional garage door and smart opener deliveries, professional installation services, and maintenance work provided by Gridsspotbridg Suomi Oy (Business ID: 3284910-8). By browsing our website or ordering our services, you accept and agree to these terms in full.
2. Quotations, Orders, and Pricing
All prices presented on this website include the applicable Finnish Value Added Tax (25.5%), unless explicitly stated otherwise in commercial B2B sections. Website cost calculator figures serve as non-binding budgetary estimates. A legally binding contract is established once the customer confirms our written quotation based on a verified site measurement.
Under Finnish Consumer Protection legislation (Chapter 6, Section 16), custom-made, tailor-manufactured garage doors built to specific opening dimensions are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal once factory production has commenced.
3. Site Preparation and Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring unobstructed access to the garage entrance on the scheduled installation date. The interior garage opening area must be cleared of stored items up to a minimum clearance of 3 meters. A functioning 230V grounded electrical outlet must be available on site for installation power tools and automatic operator testing.
4. Warranty Terms & Guarantees
We provide comprehensive warranty coverage on our products and workmanship:
- Panel Anti-Corrosion Warranty: 10 years on steel sectional panels.
- Electric Motor Operators & Controls: 5 years full replacement warranty.
- Torsion Springs & Mechanical Wear Parts: 2 to 5 years depending on cycle rating.
- Installation Workmanship Guarantee: 5 years from date of sign-off.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damages caused by improper operation, external mechanical collisions, extreme natural events, or unauthorized third-party modifications.
5. Limitation of Liability
Gridsspotbridg Suomi Oy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost business profits or third-party claims. In all circumstances, total corporate liability is strictly capped at the net contract sum of the specific order, excluding cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All copywriting, imagery, graphics, brand marks, and software code on this website are the proprietary property of Gridsspotbridg Suomi Oy or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.
7. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith bilateral negotiations. Should negotiations fail, legal proceedings shall be conducted at the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus). Consumers retain the right to submit complaints to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta).
